"The latest BTR-80A is a further development of the basic 8-wheeled Russian armored carrier (Zvezda №3558). The new vehicle has an improved turret, able to fight enemy helicopters at an elevation of 70° and at distance of 4000 m. The BTR-80A has an infrared night fighting system, able to hit targets up to 900 m distances."
